Followers of the Updated Gospel frequently help people from other faiths by redecorating places of worship (Scene after the bombing of St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s church, Cairo, 2016)

(Matthew 5:43-48)

“You’ve heard that it was said, “Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.”  Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.  This is the truth8. You must put all your efforts in the Holy War. And so, you may become children of your heavenly Father.

Loving your friends an family is one thing, but don’t even the Infidels do that? Once more, love alone will not save you. You must be ready to fight for your faith7, and only then you’ll be perfectly mature, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Comments:

In the original verses of the gospel Jesus expands the concept of “turn your other cheek” . Not only should you refrain from revenge when faced with violence, you should actually love your enemies and wish them the best. I presume even devout christians will find this hard to do. Needless to say, there is nothing remotely like it found in the Quran.
